So you're thinking about buying a home?
Whether it's your first home, a bigger home, an investment property or you're downsizing... I'm here to help!
If you’re like most people, buying a home is more than likely your single biggest investment...and debt. As such, the home buying process can be one of the most exciting, but sometimes also stressful, experiences you ever go through.
So where do you start?
Hire a Realtor. Yes, hire! Don't feel obligated to use your neighbor's aunt or your co-workers brother. Ask your friends and family who they used (and loved!), not just who they know. And don't be afraid to interview several Realtors. Your Realtor should be your number one advocate during this process. You will be spending months, potentially years, with your Realtor - so make sure you're a good match for each other.
What next?
Once you've hired your Realtor, it's time to apply for financing with a lender. Whether you plan to use your local bank or would like a recommendation for a mortgage lender, I can help with that, too! After you have secured financing, the fun part starts.... house hunting!
Don't be fooled by HGTV. I won't limit you to looking at only three homes. Sure, I've had clients purchase the first home we looked at. And then I've had clients I've showed 25+ homes. I even have clients I've been showing homes to for years. I'm here to help you at your pace.
Once we find a home you love, I will help you submit an offer. As a skilled negotiator, I will work my hardest to get you the best price and value possible. Once an offer
has been accepted I'll help you navigate through inspections, appraisals, and closing in a stress free way. The icing on the cake? I do all of this at no cost to you, the buyer.
After closing, it's time to get the keys, throw a housewarming party (don't forget to invite me!), and make lasting memories in your new home.
